WHERE IS THE EVENT?

Spinning Wildfire: The Last Sunset, will be taking place on June 1st, 2024 at two locations.

We will be hosting our main event, an art exhibition at Warehouse 25 from 4 - 11pm. The address for this venue is 25 Finchley Street, Milton, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 4064.

We will be hosting our after party at Door 84 from 10pm - 3am. The address for this venue is 84 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.

WHY THE CHANGE IN VENUES?

Due to unforseen circumstances, our original venue, Superordinary, has had some technical difficulties before we could begin our bump in. Everyone at the venue is safe and an investigation is underway. As opposed to postponing, we have decided to work with a different venue, Warehouse 25 who has agreed to accomodate us on such short nortice. We are so excited to show you our vision with the same artists, same performers and the same amount of fun to be had!

IS THIS AN 18+ EVENT?

Please note that the upcoming art exhibition is intended for an adult audience. We are honoured to feature a sensual dance performance from 'the temple', featuring Basjia, KikiLalita Conquest - a queer, female, poc dance trio based in  sydney.

The venue is supporting the use of a 'skateboarding' halfpipe w/ the We Are Dropouts crew. which would require additional safety personnel and signed legal documentarion from a parent or guardian if we were to extend our audience age limit.

There are other sensitive themes within the exhibition to which we may not want to expose to our younger community. We want to maintain the intended atmosphere of the event and since this is our first post-hiatus show, we acknowledge the extra lengths required to host a younger community. At this time, we do not have the capacity to ensure we can meet those responsibilities.

IS IT BYO?

No, at this event we will be operating at two venues that operate under the QLD Liquor License.

WHERE DO I BUY TICKETS?

You are able to purchase tickets on eventbrite. Please keep in mind tickets may be avilable on event day, however, will be an increased flat fee. We recommend buying your tickets early if you can.

You will need to purchase a Art Exhibition and After Party ticket to access both events.

WHY A TIERED TICKETING SYSTEM?

For many people, a tiered ticketing system is more than an equitable justice system; it is a system of seeing.

We champion a tiered ticketing system because through these tiers, it enables those in the margins to take pride in one of the few spaces that exist by us, for us (and allies). See more information here.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Dress to express!

Take this as how you wish.

Dress to impress, to be comfortable, to show your culture or (if you have the skillsset) show your designs. How you dress is completely up to you. In other words, there is no dress code as long as what you wear is not offensve.

IS PARKING AVAILBLE?

We are fortunate that both of our venues are accessible via public transport.

Warehouse 25 does have street parking available for those who are driving.

Door 84 is located within the inner city, so standard city parking rules apply.
